God led me to International Church of God in 2011. I was at a point in my life really really seeking God, desperate for truth, asking God to show me the purpose of my life, wanting to experience his peace, wanting to worship him in truth and in spirit. Found this church online as an answer to this spiritual hunger. Honestly, back then I was not looking for friends or to hang out after a service. I just wanted God, I wanted to be isolated and lost in my worship in the midst of the congregation. What I ended up getting was far more than I could imagine – a spiritual father and a spiritual family, getting to learn Gods word, his principles, his personality and above all getting to love God.
Get reminded of my first time in the Church. I met Pastor in the Upper Room at the Prayer Centre, but also importantly I met a lady from Punjab . I was so stunned.
Sunday service, Fasting Prayer and Friday Bible Study – it was like I hopped on to an express train in terms of spiritual growth; getting fed God’s word in person from Pastor , a man next to God’s heart, an anointed teacher of God’s word and a loving spiritual father to me. This church is rooted in Prayer and Power of the Holy Spirit. The worship is real. And the message shared is God’s Rhema word. All of this continues to keep me connected to the church over the internet, no matter which part of the world I am in. Thank God for the Church’s Internet Ministry! Thank God for the wonderful blessing of being part of this Church. Here is God’s promise that Pastor prophesied and wrote on my Bible, that changed my life. Romans 4:17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations”. He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed – the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.
