ACCESSORIES TECHNICIAN (C-LEVEL) – SOMMER’S AUTOMOTIVE Location: 7211 W. Mequon Road, Mequon, WI 53092 Are you looking for a shop where your hard work is recognized and rewarded? We are currently seeking an Accessories Technician (C-Level Technician) to join our service department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install vehicle accessories and aftermarket equipment (running boards, tonneau covers, hitches, splash guards, trim, electronics, etc.)
• Perform basic mechanical repairs and reconditioning tasks as assigned
• Complete used vehicle inspections and accessory installations efficiently and accurately
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and maintenance as needed
• Use basic diagnostic tools and service equipment appropriately and accurately
• Maintain an organized and safe work area

• Ability to follow repair procedures and installation instructions

POSITION DETAILS

• Full-Time
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Every 4th Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of automotive, mechanical, or related hands-on experience preferred

Preferred:

• Previous accessories installation experience
• Entry-level automotive certifications or technical schooling

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
• Lift 50 lbs. or more safely and repeatedly
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and work in various positions

This position operates in a busy automotive dealership service department with modern equipment and tools. You’ll work alongside a professional, supportive team!
