Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor and reconcile vendor statements, ensuring accurate payment and resolving any discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documents and records.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and provide necessary financial information as needed.
• Manage the day-to-day entries within QuickBooks, reconcile the bank account once a month, and improve your financial reporting skills.
• Willingness to adapt to a high pace and rapidly growing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in dynamic situations.
• Looking for a team player who is adaptable and willing to take on various roles within the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and familiarity with financial reporting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Coachable personality, and willingness to learn and grow.
