We are searching for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be working in a data entry and administrative capacity, providing support in managing spreadsheets, processing payments, and handling customer inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and post AP/AR payments
• Manage spreadsheets and perform calculations as needed
• Handle data entry tasks with high accuracy
• Provide direct support to the team by organizing files and documents
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for various tasks
• Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve customer inquiries
• Match purchase orders to invoices and payments when required
• Handle scanning tasks for record-keeping
• Utilize 10 Key Skills in data entry and financial tasks
• Manage and maintain email correspondence with clients and team members.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role such as Accounting Assistant or related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in 10 Key Skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proven experience in data entry tasks
• Proficiency in email correspondence
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience in organizing files and maintaining a well-structured filing system
• Ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently
• Proficiency in scanning documents and maintaining digital records
• Excellent typing skills with high accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
