Williams Fence is seeking a dedicated Administrative and Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team at Williams Fence Company. This role combines administrative support and human resources duties. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently!
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Provide general administrative support, including phone calls, emails, and communication with customers daily.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Human Resources Duties:
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases as necessary.
- Help organize employee engagement activities and events.
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Handle basic employee inquiries and direct more complex issues to the HR Manager.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentiality and professionalism.
General Support:
- Provide support across various departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist wherever required.
- Participate in special projects and assists with company processes and employee experience.
- Assist in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- College diploma or equivalent work experience in administration or human resources is a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative and HR support role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
