Job Description
Salary: $14 to $21 Per Hour
We are looking for competent Security Officers to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
***MUST BE ABLE TO LEGALLY CARRY A FIREARM IN THE STATE OF INDIANA***
ALL APPLICANTS MUST:
1. Have a valid driver's license.
2. Be at least 21 years of age.
3. Have a high school diploma or GED.
4. Pass a drug screening test.
5. Pass a criminal history check.
6. Have reliable transportation.
7. Live within 35 miles of LAPORTE, IN.
8. Pass a firearms qualification course of fire (must shoot 80% or better) with an FPA Firearms Range Officer as a condition of employment.
