As the Assistant Director of Education, you'll play a key role in shaping an inspiring and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
Teach weekly classes in digital art, drawing, painting, and mixed media for students of all ages, including kids, teens, and adults.
Track project progress, documenting student achievements and their artwork.
Establish and maintain art studio management systems to ensure classes run smoothly and efficiently.
Manage art supply ordering, organization, and inventory within budget guidelines, ensuring each class has what it needs.
Keep the digital lab up-to-date with the latest software, hardware, and educational tools.
Monitor and report expenses related to wages and art supplies.
Share important metrics such as student retention, attendance, makeups, and satisfaction rates.
Meet with prospective students and their families, ensuring a welcoming experience for new enrollments.
Develop strategies to improve student retention and satisfaction.
Assist in implementing local marketing strategies, including events, school partnerships, outreach, and other promotional activities.
Create strategies to continuously enhance the student experience and address any concerns.
Partner with local organizations to showcase student artwork and promote the school's offerings.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience teaching art to kids, teens, or adults.
Bachelor's degree in Fine Art or Art Education from an accredited institution.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to network, collaborate, and build relationships with students, families, colleagues, and community partners.
A true passion for art education and a desire to make an impact in the art community.
