Job Description

Bartender / Mixologist — Hotel Lucine At Hotel Lucine, our bar isn’t just a place to grab a drink—it’s the heartbeat of the hotel. It’s where locals and travelers connect, stories are shared, and every pour feels like a celebration. We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Bartender / Mixologist who’s not just great behind the bar, but also a dependable, adaptable team player. You’ll work across multiple venues—from The Den to The Rooftop and the Pool Bar—each with its own vibe, pace, and style. Flexibility is key: you may also step in to serve tables or support other outlets when needed. This is a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and we’re looking for someone who can bring both speed and precision while keeping service friendly, consistent, and polished. Why You’ll Love This Role: • Be part of a winning, people-focused team where your energy and attitude make the difference. • Work across multiple dynamic outlets, developing a wide range of bar and service skills. • Thrive in a fast-moving environment that rewards teamwork, reliability, and excellence. • Show off your bartending expertise while learning from a supportive, experienced team. What We’re Looking For: • Proven bartending experience and a passion for hospitality. • Energetic, fast-moving personality who thrives under pressure. • Team player who’s flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed—even outside your job description. • Strong communication and multitasking skills. • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. • Knowledge of classic cocktails, bar setup, and responsible alcohol service. • Willingness to occasionally assist with table service or support other departments. If you’re a high-energy professional who takes pride in great service and thrives in a busy, ever-changing environment, step behind the bar at Hotel Lucine and be part of something special. Responsibilities: • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more • Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system • Properly identify customers' age through identification cards, and serve alcoholic beverages following all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Prepare and serve a variety of classic cocktails, signature creations, beer, and wine to hotel and restaurant guests. • Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on preferences. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including tools, glassware, and workstations. • Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management to ensure smooth operations. • Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash-handling procedures. • Comply with all alcohol service laws, safety standards, and hotel policies. • Contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience. Qualifications: • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • Self-sufficient and proactive—able to handle polishing, restocking, and maintaining the bar independently when support staff isn’t available. • Flexible and ready to step outside traditional bartending duties when needed, such as clearing tables or helping maintain the overall guest area. • Willingness to meet and exceed guest expectations. • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. • Resume and proven working experience as a bartender. • Strong knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and standard drink recipes. • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) for POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and inventory. • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds. • Possess a valid food handling certificate and TABC seller’s certification. • Must agree to a background check. • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Compensation: $5 hourly plus tips

• Prepare and serve a variety of classic cocktails, signature creations, beer, and wine to hotel and restaurant guests.
