This is a great opportunity to work in the behavioral healthcare field!

The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a registered nurse.

Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living.

These shifts are either: 630a-7p or 630p-7am with an every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Duties and Responsbilities: 

Monitors unit and maintains a safe therapeutic environment for patients.

Completes patient observation rounds timely, and accurately

Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Drivers License with safe driving record
