Job Description

Position Summary:  Rimrock facility is a residential facility dedicated to providing support and guidance to residents in a therapeutic environment, helping them to achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being. The RTC team works in collaboration with a treatment team in order to implement therapeutic programs and activities designed to promote social skills, emotional regulation and personal development in its resident.

Schedules are 8- and 10-hours shifts

Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 hourly

Location: Rimrock Arizona

Evening shifts: 2:00 PM - 12 AM / and weekends

Job Duties:

1. Ability to meet core competencies of a Behavioral Health Technician
2. Communicate effectively with team members, parent/guardians, case managers, and clients.
3. Provides direct care services in accordance with the treatment plan. 
4. Must have a thorough working knowledge of redirection and de-escalation techniques.
5. Direct support engaging with residents, providing emotional and practical support in individual and group settings.
6. Required to meet productivity expectations.
7. Crisis intervention by responding to emergencies and crisis with appropriate interventions, ensuring safety and well-being of all residents.
8. Engage clients, encourage positive peer interactions, redirect challenging behaviors as needed an encourage healthy socialization
9. May provide assessments and therapeutic counseling based on completion of competency requirements.
10. Behavioral monitoring by observing and documenting residents' behavior, progress and challenges, reporting any significant changes to the treatment team.
11. Plan and implement therapeutic activities for clients taking in to account budget, age, and gender.
12. Accurately complete all documentation including but not limited to cash log, activity log, medication logs, transportation log, and client case notes.
13. Maintain a clean EmotiCare facility and vehicle, complete laundry, dishes, and rudimentary house cleaning.
14. Must maintain the following: Fingerprint clearance card, CPR/First Aid certification, Clear TB test, Clear Motor Vehicle Record, Emergency safety response, Fraud and Abuse, Driver Refresher, and Self-Administration of Medication trainings annually

Minimum qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or Education Equivalent with 1 year of related experience or a Bachelors Degree in a related field
2. Must be at least 21 years of age
3. Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable in Arizona
4. Must pass background criminal history, fingerprint check, and drug test
5. Current Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid Certification, CPI Certified, and Emergency Safety Response training a plus
6. Maintain all required annual training.
