Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our pool. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately recording and maintaining financial transactions, managing payroll, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring the smooth operation of accounts payable and receivable. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of financial processes and a passion for working with numbers in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions (e.g., sales, purchases, receipts, and payments). Maintain and balance ledgers, accounts, and subsidiaries to ensure accuracy. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Manage payroll, including processing payments and ensuring accuracy. Prepare basic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Support the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and relevant regulations. Essential Skills Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations is a plus.
