Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and align with both domestic and international suppliers for timely deliveries ensuring inventory levels meet market requirements and manufacturing constraints.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply plan based on forecasts production capabilities and strategic objectives ensuring optimal sourcing and supplier accountability.
• Maintain active relationships with suppliers and vendors ensuring compliance with delivery timelines and quality standards and support weekly operations like purchase orders freight tracking and inventory management.
• Work with the inventory control team to monitor inventory levels proactively prevent stockouts and refine processes for improved procurement and cost efficiency.
• Lead costreduction initiatives manage supplier performance metrics and resolve any issues related to operations purchasing or quality while supporting process optimization across procurement activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in supply chain procurement or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role with a background in supply chain management buying or procurement.
• Knowledge of imports and international supply chains particularly with products sourced from regions like Greece Turkey Egypt and others.
• Certification from ISM or APICS is required and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and software such as Great Plains (GP) and Korber is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
