Job Description
CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL A Local Dry Van Company Driver in Portland, OR. Must flexible to help cover a team run when needed for operational support. This is a night shift position Monday - Friday. You will be touching freight, which is delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements. Compensation:
* Weekly Pay: $1,600+
* Bonuses:
- $2,500 sign on bonus
- Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 per driver hired, paid after 90 days of employment

- Will require some travel to help cover a team run if needed (pay increase for Team coverage)
- Dispatch around 6pm, 19 hour round trip from Portland nightly ( 1 driver drives about 9 hours doing a few delivers and at the midpoint the drivers switch and other drives back to Portland while making a few deliveries ) 1 drives while other sleeps. Arrive back in Portland next day in the afternoon.

- Operating a Liftgate doing deliveries to Honda dealershipsEquipment
- 2023 and newer Volvos
- Automatic Transmission
- Speed governed at 70 mph
- Inward and outward facing event triggered cameras
- Slip seatingQualifications
- Must have valid CDL A License
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL Class A Tractor Trailer driving experience
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
- OTR or Regional driving experience preferred
- Comfortable with touch freight
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED
- Must have valid CDL A License
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
- No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- You must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English as outlined in the Road Executive Order and stated in Federal law
