About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for leading and managing all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and franchisee accounting systems. This executive will oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders, ensure compliance with financial policies, and manage relationships with banks and third-party lenders. Additionally, the CFO will be involved in the effective administration of the company's ESOP and insurance programs, direct the budgeting and forecasting process, and support information systems. The role also requires the CFO to provide financial consultation, manage and cultivate banking and lending relationships, and ensure the company's financial goals are met. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a proven track record in developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability. A strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements is essential, as are excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years' in a VP or similar executive role, is also necessary. Experience in the construction, real estate, or homebuilding industry, with a strong understanding of franchisor business models, is a plus.
