Schumacher Homes , the largest custom on-your-lot homebuilder in the country, is hiring a Chief Technology Officer to lead the next chapter of our consumer digital experience. This position will be located at our headquarters (2715 Wise Avenue NW, Canton OH 44708) and will report to that location daily.

Under the general direction of the President, this position is responsible for the digital customer experience, as well as the creation and maintenance of all technology products that serve both internal & external customers. This person oversees the information technology and digital teams.

We are looking for a digital leader who knows technology. We need someone who understands customer-facing systems and can be an effective business partner at the executive level. Someone who has the confidence and experience to manage the desires of those strong personalities.

Essential Duties:

• Lead and develop the information technology and digital teams.
• Responsible for the complete development lifecycle of the software systems, including gathering requirements, software development, testing, implementation, user follow up, support and project management. Conduct quality assurance checks.
• Responsible for release management and deployments.
• Responsible for developing and implementing change control processes for the development team to follow.
• Provides ad-hoc reporting and decision support required for management decision making processes.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have direct to consumer sales experience
• Has extensive experience with online customer journey
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of Salesforce
• Agile Experience
• Jira Experience
• End to End project lifecycle
