If you are looking to jump start your career in child care, join Lakeville Area Schools as a Kid Zone Child Care Assistant for our before and after school programs! Our Assistants work directly with a supervisor to provide quality, engaging curriculum to elementary aged students. No formal child care experience is required, but we are looking for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills.
Job responsibilities:
- Assist instructors with extra curricular activities, such as physical recreation/sports and art and crafts
- Provide prep and clean up of projects, snacks and activities
- Communicate any issues to the instructor/supervisor
- Provide support to children with disabilities with help of a Paraprofessional
Pay and schedule:
- Competitive pay up to $18.50 per hour
- Flexible hours between 7 am and 5:30 pm
- Possibility to work before school, after school, or all day program
- Participate in field trips on non-school days

Qualifications:
