Job Title: Clinical Medical Assistant
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers by preparing patients for exams and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms in EHR
- Administer injections, conduct EKGs, draw blood, and collect lab samples
- Assist with minor medical procedures and wound care
- Schedule patient appointments, manage referrals, and process prescriptions
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and post-care instructions
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms and medical supplies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited Clinical Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred but not required
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of EHR systems and medical terminology
