SUMMARY OF POSITION: PMP Division of seeking an experience CNC Swiss Screw Machine Operator
Key Performance Indictors: - Perform duties associated with set-up and operation of a CNC machine
- Strictly adheres to Company safety policies and procedures
- Perform quality control checks with the use of measuring instruments (i.e. caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.)
- Perform necessary side operations during machine cycle time as required
- Compare numerical data displays with specifications on operation sheets
- Examine cut parts for defects such as machine edge and surface scratching
- Maintain accurate parts count and labeling (edited)
- Perform inspections using required calibrated measuring devices to match part against print
- Perform any other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
•2 years of machining in a metal manufacturing environment
•2+ years experience operating, and troubleshooting Swiss Style CNC screw machines such as Citizen, Star, Tsugami
•Experience setting up or editing a CNC Swiss machine
•Utilizing knowledge of G and M codes (use of CAD CAM program software is desirable)
•Must be able to work from prints
•Microscope experience is a plus since some work will be very small parts
•Experience in organizing and managing staff
•Able to lift up to 50lbs
•A neat and tidy personal appearance must be maintained;
•Work evenings, days and weekends as required.
