Starting rate of $46.22 hour + mileage reimbursement
Location: 6379 Center Drive Norfolk, VA 23502 The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, delivering recovery-oriented, person-centered care to individuals with serious mental illness in the community. This role blends clinical skill, crisis response, and collaboration to support clients in achieving stability, independence, and improved quality of life.
- Provide recovery-based, person-centered nursing care through individual and group interventions supporting mental health, daily living skills, and community functioning.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor symptoms and treatment response, and collaborate on individualized treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver medication education, monitoring, and administration while addressing clients' physical health needs.
- Support crisis intervention efforts and provide real-time clinical guidance in community-based settings.
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, families, and community agencies while serving as a client advocate and liaison.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing
- At least one year of experience providing mental health services to adults with serious mental illness preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system
- Valid Driver's License
