Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer / Concrete Picker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction tasks, including handling concrete materials, site preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, and able to work in outdoor conditions.

• Load, unload, and move construction materials, including concrete forms and tools.
• Assist in pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning debris and setting up necessary equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support skilled tradespeople as needed on-site.
• Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials.

• Previous experience in construction or concrete work preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices in construction environments.

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• May require overtime or weekend work depending on project needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Farmingdale,NY.
