We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the retail industry, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, 89169, United States. As a Controller, you will have critical responsibilities including the management of financial reporting, cash forecasting, and month-end close activities. You will also oversee accounts payable and payroll functions and manage insurance renewals and banking relationships.

Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Carry out cash management and forecasting activities to maintain financial stability
• Supervise month-end close processes to ensure timely completion
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and payroll functions to ensure smooth operations
• Handle insurance renewals to keep all company policies up-to-date
• Maintain banking relationships to facilitate financial transactions
• Use accounting software systems to record and analyze financial data
• Conduct auditing activities to ensure financial compliance
• Oversee budget processes to ensure financial efficiency
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting tasks
• Prepare and review financial statements to assess financial performance.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Controller
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficient in using CRM
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skills in Auditing
• Knowledge of Budget Processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience with Paychex Payroll and Paychex
• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements
• Experience with Consolidated Financial Statements
• Familiarity with Financial Statements and Financial Statement Preparation
• Ability to prepare and review Monthly Financial Statements
• Experience in preparing Year-end Financial Statements
