Job Description

Position Summary & Duties: The Corporate Pilot position is a full-time, direct-hire position working for HGA and its plane co-owners in Ruston, LA.

The Corporate Pilot will be responsible for transporting passengers and some cargo, determining the safest routes, analyzing flight plans and weather conditions, calculating fuel requirements, identifying and performing maintenance, and inspecting operation systems and navigation equipment.

Corporate Pilot Responsibilities:
•Performing pre- and post-flight inspections of fuel, equipment, and navigational systems.
•Monitoring weather conditions and communication with air traffic control during flights.
•Determining the safest routes and analyzing flight plans prior to takeoff.
•Keeping up to date with aircraft advancements and equipment.
•Scheduling equipment repair with maintenance.
•Daily oversight of company hangar, office, and company aircraft; collaborating with other pilots regarding maintenance needs for planes.
•Completing flight reports about the flight and status of the aircraft after landing.
•Maintaining the flight log, monitoring/overseeing maintenance, providing consultation and expert guidance to management.

Qualifications:
Corporate Pilot Requirements:
•Candidates must have completed at least 3,000 hours of total flight time and 1,500 hours of multi-engine jet time as PIC.
•C525 Single Pilot Type Rating required
•Experience with Citation CJ3/CJ3+/CJ4/CJ4 Gen2 including at least 300 hours of total flight time as PIC is desired
•Possess a commercial pilot license, and second-class medical certificate or higher
•Possess excellent knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and safety procedures
•No prior aircraft accidents or FAA violations or license suspensions without satisfactory explanation
•Candidates must reside within commuting distance to Ruston, LA or be willing to relocate, and be available with limited notice, and able to work varying hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight trips
