Creative Technologist - Video & Interactive Media

We are looking for a versatile Creative Technologist to bridge design and engineering for our clients consumer video apps. This role requires someone who can translate creative concepts into functional products, update existing content, fix bugs, and collaborate on new tools and prototypes. You will need a strong mix of technical and creative skills, along with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate Designs to Products : Work with designers and engineers to convert creative ideas into technical solutions.
2. Update and Fix Content : Add new content, update existing content, fix bugs, and ensure flawless performance in our video apps.
3. Prototype and Innovate : Design and implement new prototypes, leveraging emerging technologies to push creative boundaries.
4. Collaborate with Engineers : Help develop tools to optimize workflows and anticipate technical needs.
5. Production Work : Handle production tasks with precision, ensuring content is optimized for performance and meets quality standards.
6. Test and Troubleshoot : Identify and fix issues, ensuring consistency in formats and color profiles.

Required Skills:

1. Proficiency with Mac OS , Xcode , Adobe Photoshop , Sketch , After Effects , and Final Cut Pro .
2. Experience with 3D modeling , video compression , and file formats .
3. Familiarity with version control tools (SVN/GIT), automation scripting , and iOS app development .
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills .
6. Experience with 3D tools (Cinema 4D, Maya), video production , and app development .
7. Familiarity with software or game development is a plus.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $85 to $90 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
