Job Title: Customer Care Specialist

Reports to: Director of Customer Service

Scope of the Position:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Care Specialist to enhance our customer experience efforts for flooring retailers in the Residential and Commercial industries. You will be addressing customer queries, identifying ways to improve our customer service, and serving customer and organizational needs. A top-notch Customer Care Specialist will have extensive knowledge of our internal processes and support functions and be someone whose expertise and collaboration with internal teams results in excellent customer relationship management. This role includes before and after sales service with both internal and external customers online, via email, chat, and over the phone. This person will gain extensive knowledge of our flooring products and proactively manage multiple tasks daily. They also have a responsibility to identify and provide feedback to management when opportunities are presented to enhance our customer journey and overall customer experience. Given this person’s skillset and strong communication skills, they will have a heart to serve our customer’s needs, seek add-on sales opportunities, and provide profitable solutions.

Qualifications:

• We are seeking applicants with 3-5 years of experience in a customer service-related environment, but if you feel you have the aptitude and attitude to excel in the environment described above, we would love to hear from you!
• Flooring sales or installation experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Excellent skills in problem solving, multi-tasking, and attention to detail required
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
• Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment
• Experience in sales, order entry, inventory, and logistics preferred
