Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our Defense and Intelligence Team, serving the Intelligence Community as a primary customer. In this role, you will contribute to cutting-edge research in a dynamic data environment, leveraging tools like Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to develop advanced models for object detection and characterization. Your work will involve integrating diverse data sources, training and fine-tuning machine learning models, and delivering insights through compelling documentation and reports for decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced research and analytics to address complex data challenges in support of intelligence missions.
• Develop and implement machine learning and object detection models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and similar technologies.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and formats into cohesive databases to support analysis.
• Train foundation models to advance the Intelligence Community's capabilities and fine-tune them to address specific intelligence questions.
• Create and deliver detailed documentation, reports, and graphical representations to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.

• Technical proficiency with standard tools (e.g., sponsor computing networks, Microsoft Office Suite) and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems and tools.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph (Full Scope Polygraph preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics) and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in data science and analytics.
• Proficiency in programming with Python and/or R.
• Familiarity with machine learning, computer vision, and object detection techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience with PyTorch, Keras, or other advanced machine learning frameworks.
• Knowledge of overhead imagery and related analytics.
