We are looking to add certified teachers to our staff at Tender Learning Centre.

As a Teacher at Tender Learning Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting our classrooms. You will help create and implement a curriculum to help our learners grow and develop. Leading the classroom and working with assistant teachers to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education are essential for this role.

$18 - $25 hourly

• Plan and implement daily activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Provide individualized attention to children, supporting their unique needs and interests.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, following health and safety guidelines.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support children during mealtime, nap time, and other daily routines.

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or other setting required.
• Strong understanding of child development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• EEC Teacher Certification (Required)
• A nurturing and patient demeanor, with a passion for early childhood education.

Tender Learning Centre is a privately owned daycare dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants to school-aged children. We believe in fostering a love for learning through play and exploration, ensuring that every child feels valued and cared for.
