We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team and make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.
Position Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional , you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage skill-building, and foster an inclusive and empowering environment that promotes independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores
Facilitate community involvement by providing transportation to appointments, social events, and vocational activities
Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients, families, and team members
Implement individualized care plans and document progress accurately
Promote self-advocacy, skill development, and personal growth
Maintain confidentiality and comply with documentation standards
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment by following safety and health protocols
