About the Role

The Company is looking for three visionary and engaged volunteer members to join its Board of Directors during this pivotal moment for the organization. New board members will play a crucial role in shaping strategic planning, fundraising initiatives, and mission-driven leadership. We seek candidates with at least 10 years of nonprofit leadership or board experience, along with a personal commitment to provide significant annual financial support. A strong understanding or connection to gifted education is essential.

Board members will help evolve the long-term vision and plans for the school, ensuring financial stability while supporting the Head of School in leadership and evaluations. Candidates should be prepared to dedicate 20-30 hours quarterly to board activities, including meetings, strategic planning, and community engagement.

This role requires a hands-on approach, emphasizing both strategic thinking and practical execution. We value board members who proactively advance organizational goals, ask insightful questions, and constructively challenge the status quo. Successful candidates will be expected to generate a minimum of $45,000 in annual donations and utilize their networks to support the school's mission. While regional connections are preferable, qualified candidates from other locations who align with the school's values and can meet the time commitment are welcome to apply.
