About the Role

A leading gaming and entertainment organization is seeking a Director of Security to oversee property-wide security and valet operations. This position ensures the safety of guests, employees, and company assets while fostering a culture of hospitality and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned security professional with strong leadership experience, a background in gaming or law enforcement, and the ability to build trusted relationships across teams, regulators, and law enforcement agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and inspire Security and Valet teams to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain a safe environment.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of property security operations.
• Develop and enforce company policies, procedures, and compliance with internal controls, gaming regulations, and applicable laws.
• Conduct internal investigations and coordinate responses to incidents, accidents, and emergencies.
• Build partnerships with local law enforcement and gaming regulators to stay informed on relevant security trends.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing levels, and expense controls.
• Oversee safety inspections and implement corrective measures where needed.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports, logs, and documentation for Security and Valet operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of security experience within law enforcement or the gaming industry.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
• Proven ability to manage teams, build culture, and ensure compliance in a high-volume hospitality environment.

• Base salary: $83,000–$90,000
