Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Teacher Assistant/Aide to support the daily operations of our licensed in-home daycare. The ideal candidate will assist the lead provider with implementing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. This role involves helping with daily routines, educational activities, supervision, and ensuring a clean, engaging space that supports each child’s growth and well-being.

Duties

• Assist in supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in care
• Support the lead provider in preparing and facilitating age-appropriate learning activities
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly learning environment
• Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, and rest time routines
• Encourage positive social and emotional development through modeling and guidance
• Maintain accurate records and daily reports as directed
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, parents, and team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework or experience in early childhood education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is a plus
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
• Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with children
