Job Summary
We are seeking a Morning baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious pastries. If you are hardworking, an early morning person, we’d like to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrive promptly at 5 am for morning shift
- Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Bake a variety of sweet and savory pastries
- Follow recipes meticulously
- Prepare custom orders
- Track and maintain inventory as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role is required
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player
- Available for early morning shifts is mandatory.
- Full availability during busy seasons and holidays is necessary. This may involve schedule changes.
