Overseeing one or more small to medium-sized IT projects of low to moderate complexity. Assembling project teams, assigning roles, and developing schedules to ensure project completion. Defining project requirements and implementing project modifications and development. Managing project costs, schedules and quality by overseeing project deliverables. Identifying potential project risks and implementing mitigation solutions. Managing stakeholder communication and expectations for project performance. Driving the project to ensure critical issues are identified and resolved. Diving into technical or functional details of the project to understand and help resolve issues. The right person has... A Bachelor's degree (preferably in business administration, information technology, engineering or related field). 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a Healthcare setting. Experience with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), certification preferred. Experience working with project management methodologies and delivery assurance principles. Experience in IT system implementations and/or system maintenance activities. Knowledge and certification of ITIL methodology (preferred). Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
