Pay

• $55,000.00-$90,000.00 yearly

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating prospective bid opportunities.
• Prepare job budgets, estimates, and proposals for customers.
• Track and obtain customer updates on pending estimates not yet awarded.
• Maintain job records to include open bids, bids lost, bids awarded, and jobs completed.
• Interface with Senior Estimators and Project Managers on jobs awarded to the company.
• Assist in the review of completed jobs to refine future estimates.
• Perform sales and purchasing responsibilities as directed.
• Network with new potential customers to generate bid opportunities.
• Willingness to receive ongoing training in the estimating field.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements

• Associate degree or higherpreferred
• Knowledge of AutoBid SheetMetal (previously Quickpen) a plus
• Oral Communication Skills and Customer Relations Diplomacy
• Written Communication Skills
• Math Aptitude Negotiations
• Technical Communication and Organization Planning
• Professionalism
• Proficiency in understanding construction plans and specifications
• Reading Skills and Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
