About Us: Real Time Resolutions is a dynamic and innovative organization in the financial sector. We are currently seeking a motivated and analytic ETL Developer to join our Data Services team. Essential Functions - Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting ETL packages that implement complex ETL processes.
- Understand and analyze requirements and develop, deploy, and configure ELT processes with a focus on optimization and efficiency.
- Provide expertise in the use of ETL tools and frameworks to enhance data integration capabilities.
- Provide direct oversight of contractor's development of projects and enhancements to ensure common, consistent, and reusable components are developed by the ETL team.
- Guide and mentor junior developers, setting standards for best practices and methodologies in ETL development.
- Ability to effectively direct the work of others and lead a team.
- Use advanced SQL Server experience to implement robust, maintainable solutions that meet requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data warehouse development, including the implementation of reconciliation and validation frameworks.
- Take ownership of complex problems and develop innovative solutions, showcasing a high level of problem-solving skills. Skilled at identifying flat areas and providing high-level feedback to employees for performance improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and negotiation for mutually beneficial solutions.
Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required or equivalent work experience.
- Programming knowledge and skills with 4+ years of development experience in developing ETL applications.
- Demonstrated skill and ability in the development of data warehouse applications (SQL Server).
- Advanced data warehouse development experience using best practices including the development of reconciliation and validation frameworks.
- Advanced experience in SQL Server database design and development best practices.
- Demonstrated skill and ability in interfacing programmatically with a variety of enterprise systems.
- Advanced experience in reviewing and trouble-shooting complex issues and designs.
- Advanced experience with development in other aspects of the Microsoft BI Stack - SSAS/SSRS a plus.
- Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information. Has the ability to reach sound decisions quickly.
- Able to fully research business situation, identify areas of concern and present solution.
- Advance experience working in a software development environment.
- Has strong knowledge of capabilities and direction of technology, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the technology required and the needs of the business environment necessary to support assigned projects.
- Success working in both a team-based environment with good interpersonal skills as well as independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively negotiate with other teams to create a mutually beneficial solution.
- Strong data analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and credit check to client required standards.
