Metric are seeking multiple Guidance, Navigation and Controls Engineers to join a leading eVTOL client in the SF Bay Area.
Each GNC Engineer will specialize in one of the following three areas:
Flight Controls
- Model-based Control System Validation
- Modern, Classical and Flight Controls
- CONDUIT, not a dealbreaker but huge benefit if you're proficient with this
- MATLAB & Simulink
State Estimation
- Kalman Filters, Monte Carlo Simulations
- Sensor Fusion, Python, MATLAB
Flight Dynamics Modelling & Simulation
- Physics-based modelling for aircraft
- First-Principals modelling
- Flightlab
- Aircraft & flight dynamics
- Six-Degree-of-Freedom (6-DoF)
- MATLAB & Simulink
