We are currently hiring multiple food service roles for Plum Market Kitchen, our signature dining experience in the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you would be responsible for serving food to guests in a prompt and courteous manner while providing an outstanding guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work in hospitality without the late nights that most restaurant positions require.
Essential Responsibilities - Performs opening and closing tasks as assigned
- Handles cash accurately and efficiently
- Possesses knowledge of menu descriptions and can effectively communicate them to guests
- Ensures an outstanding guest experience
- Interacts and communicates with guests and co-workers in a professional and friendly manner
- Assumes responsibility for the cleanliness of assigned areas in keeping with the Department of Health & Sanitation guidelines
- Adheres to department rules and policies at all times
- Acts as a team player
- Serves food in a variety of daily food services operations
- Performs other activities as necessary
Your Qualifications - 18 years or older
- Flexible to work holidays & weekends
