Job Description

Summary/Objective

We are looking for an entry-level accountant to assist our senior forensic accountants in conducting forensic audits and investigations, corporate compliance programs, and litigation support matters.

Job Duties
  • Assist in compiling and analyzing documents and data
  • Participate in site visits and interviews
  • Perform reviews and testing of financial and operational data to support our investigative, compliance and construction monitoring projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with clients and internally within the organization
  • Work with a multi-disciplined team including attorneys, investigators, and research analysts
  • Assist in the drafting of reports and preparing necessary tables, exhibits and charts
  • Travel within the New York Metropolitan region

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or up to two (2) years; of Accounting and/or Finance experience
  • Strong analytical skills related to the retrieval and organization of high volumes of data
  • Experience working with clients is a plus
  • Strong proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
