Fraud Analyst

Hobby Lobby Stores is a privately held corporation that is looking for a qualified person to fill an opening in the Ecommerce Accounting department. This is an entry level position in the Hobby Lobby Corporate offices located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There is no relocation assistance with this opening. The opening is for a: Full Time Fraud Analyst Starting Pay: $20.15 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am to 5:00pm) Responsibilities will include:

  • Perform manual fraud reviews
  • Manage fraud prevention tools.
  • Research credit card disputes and build dispute cases to recover funds using proprietary software.
  • Validate appropriate data from internal and third party systems and ensure appropriate course of action is being pursued.
  • Analyze past fraud activity, and current fraud trends, in order to build fraud prevention rules.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and appropriate responses to disputes
  • Monitor disputed transactions for possible fraudulent activity
  • Serve customers by resolving product and service problems by involving Customer Service dept.
  • Cross Train in other areas of the Accounting Dept.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience in disputes or in the payments industry preferred
  • Communicate and work well with other departments and employees
  • Be self-motivated and work without direct supervision
  • Ability to juggle multiple duties with accuracy
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
  • Ability to periodically lift 20 lbs
