POSITION PURPOSE:
The Pearson VUE Testing Administrator will be the primary contact for the general public and all Pearson VUE test takers. The testing administrator will greet, answer inquiries and provide information regarding activities conducted at American YouthWorks (AYW), its programs within the organization, and information regarding testing dates and schedules. The testing administrator will comply with all rules and regulations from Pearson VUE while managing the exam delivery process and proctoring candidates while they are taking computer-based tests. The Testing Administrator will utilize Pearson VUE Testing System applications, such as Site Manager, Admissions Manager, Registration Manager, and Delivery Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Required
SKILL: Bilingual in Spanish and English
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE: One year or more of previous related experience in the specified work experience or job duties. Some experience working with young and diverse populations experiencing barriers to education and employment with criminal records and various lifestyles, behaviors, cultural and spiritual practices. Some experience working with contracts, reporting measurements, compliance, member coordination, and, or working in a Conservation/YouthBuild/AmeriCorps model;
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE: Proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite applications, general office equipment, and clerical procedures. Scheduling appointments, calendar management, and email filtration.
SKILLS: Leadership; Exceptional communication - verbally, written, and with presentation; Strong organization and time management; Ability to manage outside contractors and projects; Negotiation and quality control analysis, File management; superior organization, coordination, and facilitation to ensure effective outcomes; robust planning.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
HEARING: Hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
VISION: The ability to see details at a distance and, or at close range, within a few feet of the observer; will be required to read papers, and books and to operate audio-visual office equipment and tools.

INDOORS: Environmentally controlled conditions, working in an office or shared office setting, working with others in a group or team; contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise), No hazardous conditions. May be required to work in hot, wet, cold, or other significantly unpleasant conditions.

ATTENDANCE: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; with one-hour unpaid lunch break.
