Job Summary: 
Join our growing HVAC and plumbing company, One Hour Heating and Air, where your expertise will keep our financial operations running smoothly! We’re seeking a detail-oriented and independent Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our financial records with precision. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced service industry and enjoys taking ownership of the accounting process. Responsibilities: 

• Reconcile all accounts (bank, credit card, and merchant accounts) and close the books by the 10th of each month to ensure timely financial reporting. 


• Perform quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and prepare accurate financial statements. 


• Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely customer invoicing and vendor payments. 


• Manage merchant card transactions and financing company receipts for accurate cash flow tracking. 


• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and assist with audit preparation. 


• Utilize QuickBooks Online to generate reports and provide insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in service industries (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, construction, or home services). 


• QuickBooks Online Certification (or equivalent proficiency). 


• Associates’ degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience or certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) considered. 


• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. 


• Familiarity with industry-specific software (e.g., ServiceTitan) is a plus. 


• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
