Full-Time Gardener – Malibu, California
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Full-Time Gardener to care for and manage a private property’s landscaping in Malibu, CA. This is a year-round position for someone who takes pride in maintaining healthy fruit trees, ornamental plants, and other landscape features.
Responsibilities
● Care for and maintain fruit trees (watering, fertilizing, pruning, pest management, harvesting)
● Tend to flowers, shrubs, and ornamental trees throughout the property
● Monitor plant health and identify issues such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies
● Maintain soil quality, irrigation systems, and overall garden aesthetics
● Seasonal planting and landscape upkeep
● Coordinate with property owner/management for ongoing and special projects
Qualifications
● Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or orchard management
● Knowledge of fruit tree care (pruning, disease control, harvesting)
● Familiarity with native California plants and ornamental flowers preferred
● Ability to operate and maintain standard gardening tools and small machinery
● Attention to detail, reliability, and pride in high-quality results
Compensation
● $52,000 per year ($25 per hour), depending on experience
● Full-time position, Monday–Friday (occasional weekend flexibility may be required)
