Role Overview :
This position works with the White River State Park marketing and communications team on the execution of the park’s marcom strategy and interacts frequently with park attractions and the Indianapolis tourism industry. The candidate selected should have a desire to grow their career in tourism, marketing, and/or communications.
Moderate travel outside of the office setting is necessary and required. Reliable transportation is required. Please note, overall much more time is required outside in various weather conditions and for long periods of time than a typical office setting. Interns are required to spend majority of time interacting with the public.
Salary Statement :
The hourly rate for this position is $16.24 for those that do not hold a bachelor’s degree & $17.24 for those that hold a bachelor’s degree or higher by the time the internship starts.
