One of our client a (government agency contractor) is looking for Grant Application Reviewer for a remote job opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Grant Application Reviewers will evaluate the project narrative of the Initial Proposals.

The reviewers will:
•Review grants applications assess the completeness and adequacy of the submission based on the requirements published in the NOFO
•Identify potential policy issues raised by an Eligible Entity's proposed approach
•Critically evaluate Eligible Entities' Initial Proposals and spot potential issues
•Proficiently synthesize review comments into coherent, actionable, and straightforward guidance to Eligible Entities
•Use an online tool/checklist and user guide and follow prescribed steps to review applications and move them forward in the application review process
•Support clients in the completion of their review
•Attend all required trainings; all trainings and technology enablement will be provided by the project team
•Be responsible for quality assurance practices and fostering completion and accuracy of tasks

Required Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience
• Experience in financial analysis, Federal Grant reviewing/management, business analysis, grant management, and quality assurance
• Professional experience in a related industry (e.g., telecom, broadband infrastructure development/engineering, constructing/operating a broadband network, financial/budgetary analysis, and environmental permitting)
• Direct exposure to public grants (i.e., Federal, State, local, Tribal), including, but not limited to, policy development, execution, administration, etc.
• Technical understanding of one or more of the following areas: broadband or telecommunications, telecommunications transport facilities, broadband network infrastructure, or related technical understandings
• Ability to work independently and to think through a task by taking it from concept to delivery
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail
• Functional experience using tools and systems to manage data and provide accurate documentation
