Head of Sales, Americas - Portfolio Solutions, Managing Director Who we are looking for The Head of Sales Americas - Portfolio Solutions, Managing Director position is a senior distribution role within the Portfolio Solutions organization and offers the opportunity for a senior experienced sales management professional to drive revenue across a collection of agency and outsourced businesses servicing asset managers and asset owners. This highly visible leadership role will encompass multiple regional senior and junior sales personnel located in the United States and Canada. The Portfolio Solutions Group is one of three main vertical business lines within State Street Global Markets and focuses on assisting clients in the following outsourced solution areas: Transition Management, Agency Brokerage, Outsourced Trading, and Currency Management. This successful person will report directly to the Global Head of Portfolio Solutions and be a member of the Portfolio Solutions executive management group. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. What you will be responsible for As the Head of Sales, Americas Portfolio Solutions, Managing Director you will be responsible for: Optimizing sales resources across a regional geographic footprint and across a variety of outsourced solutions for both asset owners and asset managers. Driving regional sales team revenue production in order to meet budgeted growth targets across existing mature businesses and new growth initiatives. Working across the Global Markets division in addition to the broader global services and asset management divisions to ensure that the sales team is maximizing opportunities to provide our solutions to existing clients of State Street. Creating and monitoring annual performance priorities and quantifiable metrics to continually assess performance of both managers and individual contributors across the Americas sales team. Cultivating and strengthening our talent by ensuring appropriate training to assist with meeting their core job expectations. Strengthen our talent through increased diversity, mobility, and promotion of employee engagement. Active contributions to the decision-making process within the Portfolio Solutions management team and to be accountable for sales strategy in the Americas region tailored to specific client needs and for each type of product. What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role: Proven sales management success within a large multinational organization. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships with key decision-makers for our solutions including Chief Investment Officers, Chief Operating Officers, and Heads of Trading desks at both asset managers and asset owners. Ability to communicate feedback from clients and prospects back into the overall organization to improve delivery of solutions and improve the overall client experience. Education & Preferred Qualifications Undergraduate degree required with preference. Minimum of 10 years experience in sales/sales management capacities. CFA designation preferred but not required. FINRA Series 7, 63, 24 preferred. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software package. Additional requirements Up to 50% travel required for both internal management and client purposes.
