We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Aide . This role is crucial to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, whereby the aide will ensure that resident rooms are immaculate and that linens are hygienically cleaned and visually appealing. Your work will contribute significantly to the quality of life of our residents in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exhibits proficiency in proper mopping techniques.


• Demonstrates expertise in dust mopping practices.


• Maintains high cleaning standards for both horizontal and vertical surfaces.


• Safely disposes of general and biohazard waste with care.


• Provides meticulous cleaning for both occupied and unoccupied resident rooms.


• Efficiently operates washers, dryers, and extractors.


• Sorts, folds, and dries clean linens with attention to detail.


• Utilizes appropriate chemicals for washing, rinsing, and bleaching as necessary.


• Adheres strictly to infection control protocols in managing clean and soiled linens.

Furthermore, the Housekeeping/Laundry Aide will perform all essential and non-essential duties in alignment with the mission and values of CHI Living Communities which include compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, and collaboration. 

Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in laundry, housekeeping, or health care is desirable.
