Join our team as a Human Resources Assistant and make a significant impact in supporting your fellow Soldiers in their career development. In this role, you will provide valuable information on promotions and future training opportunities while ensuring comprehensive support for commanders across various branches. You will receive training in document preparation, drafting requests, and managing essential official documentation such as ID cards and tags. Additionally, you will become proficient in using computer programs to maintain accurate personnel data. Skills you will acquire are closely related to Business Administration, Performance Management, and Employee Relations. You also have the opportunity to earn up to 13 nationally recognized certifications! Job Duties: Assist with all human resource support functions Oversee strength management and distribution activities Ensure readiness, health, and welfare of Soldiers Provide postal and personnel accountability support Maintain emergency notification data Requirements: 10 weeks of Basic Training 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training U.S. Citizen Aged 17 to 34 Years High School Diploma or GED Adhere to Tattoo Guidelines No Major Law Violations No Medical Concerns Benefits: The Army offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family while helping you advance in your career.
