Entry-Level Landscape Architect / Designer – Houston, TX

PVE + EDI is excited to find our next entry-level/graduate landscape architect with exceptional design talent and skills to assist with our amazing landscape architecture projects throughout the U.S. and abroad. Our landscape architecture projects include active and passive court yards for large multi-family projects, with swimming pools, fire pits, ball courts, etc. We also work on streetscape design for revitalization of urban neighborhoods and new residential/commercial developments. Other projects include recreation plaza areas, roof top gardens, rain gardens, pedestrian and bike trails, public parks and any necessary landscape design for our residential, commercial, industrial and office land development projects.

This individual would also work on land planning projects. These include the layout of single-family and multi-family residential developments, flex industrial developments, office complexes and commercial mixed-use developments.

Requirements:

Bachelors or a master’s from an accredited Landscape Architecture program with 0-3 years of experience in Landscape Architecture and/ or landscape design.

Proficiency with:

• AutoCAD, Civil3D
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Adobe Suite
• Sketch Up
• Presentation graphic

Current Skills:

• Creative Design Skills
• Good Communication Skills

Future Expected Skills:

• Preparation of Construction Documents for Landscape Architecture projects.
• Understanding of Land Development Entitlements and Municipal Approval processes.
