POSITION – LAUNDRY ATTENDANT
RATE OF PAY - $20.00 PER HOUR
EMPLOYEE CATEGORY - PART TIME
ABOUT OUR ROLE
Laundry Attendants work with laundry equipment to facilitate the cleaning of all hotel linen while practicing good stewardship by ensuring inventory levels are maintained and quality standards are upheld.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and store all linen and towels for guest rooms
Assist with proper inventory management by inspecting linen and towels daily for stains and rips, removing from inventory and reporting appropriately
Practice high level communication skills within a team setting
Follow all sanitary and safety regulations and guidelines when handling linen and operating laundry equipment
Maintain good time management by always completing tasks with a sense of urgency
Recognize and dispatch any maintenance items or safety hazards to the appropriate team member
Assist guests with questions and requests when approached by being aware of events and activities available at the resort
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to accurately and efficiently report information
1+ years of laundry experience. Experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
Must be able to work evening/PM shifts
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to remain upright continuously on a firm surface for an 8–10-hour shift.
Must be able to move at least 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without another person's aid.
Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
