Our Client in MA is looking for a Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to work in a Pre-Admissions testing Department
\n
\n GENERAL DESCRIPTION
\nUnder the direction of the supervising anesthesiologists, the Nurse Practitioner will provide professional medical support to patients in the Pre-Admission Testing Department.\n

\n\t
• Conducts a history and physical orders labs, EKG and x-rays.\n\t
• Collaborates care with multidisciplinary team members.\n\t
• Effectively identifies and evaluates the findings.\n\t
• While complying with anesthesia evaluation guidelines\n

\n WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS \n\n

\n\t
• Minimum of two years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner during which time s/he has demonstrated assessment skills.\n\t
• Must successfully complete Delineation of Privileges process within UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital.\n

\n EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS \n\n

\n\t
• Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner program.\n\t
• Current APN licensure by the Massachusetts B.O.R.N. preferred.\n\t
• American Heart Association or equivalent B.L.S. certification for health care provider required upon hire or during orientation and every two years thereafter; American Heart Association or equivalent A.C.L.S. certification for health care provider required within six months of orientation and every two years thereafter.\n
