The successful individual will be responsible for representing the company in developing excellent customer relationships with all existing and potential customers through informative, efficient and friendly service. This position requires a team player able to interact with all departments.

Duties of the role will include but not limited to:

• Sales support both internal and external with the salesmen/customers in NFPA and Defense.

• Occasionally performs internal quality control

• NCR & claims handling, warranty handling

• Purchasing both internal through production and external to vendors.

• Logistics and shipping

• Warehousing such as getting shipments received and distributed as well as inventory control

• Service coordination for PPE including NFPA gear and Aviation suits for Defense.

• Shop manager for the cylinder shop to oversee records and maintain

• Assistance with the service side as necessary

• Handling of materials for tradeshows

Qualifications/ Skills Required:

• Previous experience with SAP required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong listening and presentation skills

• Knowledge about the Fire industry and manufacturing preferred

• A good understanding of the sales processes

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload efficiently

• Strong analytical skills

• Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member

• Self-motivated and a determination to surpass performance goals

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibility and Decision Making Authority:

Act independently; decision making within Company policy

 

Education:

Bachelors degree preferred

Working Hours:

Must be flexible and have ability to work hours as dictated. Occasional evening and weekend work depending on business or customer requirements.

Working Environment:

Work usually performed in an warehouse setting.

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Travel:

Able to travel to customers/team sites and trade shows as required
